Can I get my chicken cut up or do you only sell whole birds?

Right now we focus on whole birds to maintain quality and keep costs manageable as a small farm. Whole birds actually give you the best value - you can cut them yourself or ask your local butcher. We're considering cut options for the future as we grow!

What makes your chickens different from store-bought?

Our chickens live their entire lives on pasture (with the exeption of the first 2 weeks) with daily moves to fresh grass - no crowded barns! They forage naturally, get no antibiotics or hormones, and live stress-free. This creates better-tasting, more nutritious meat while building soil health through our rotational system.

Are your chickens organic/certified?

We follow organic practices but don't have official certification yet. Our birds get non-GMO feed, live on pasture 24/7, never get antibiotics/hormones, and we use regenerative farming methods. We focus on transparency - you can see exactly how we raise them!

Why does your chicken cost more than the grocery store?

Great question! Our $3.99/lb reflects the real cost of ethical farming: non-GMO feed, daily labor-intensive pasture rotation, small batch processing, and direct-to-consumer delivery. You're getting restaurant-quality chicken while supporting regenerative agriculture that builds soil health.

Is pasture-raised really worth the extra cost?

Absolutely! You're getting superior nutrition, better taste, and supporting sustainable farming. Our chickens build soil health, sequester carbon, and live stress-free lives. Plus, you know exactly where your food comes from - I'm here to answer any questions about your specific bird!
